The Transformer™ External Breather System is the ULTIMATE EBS to use with the Outlaw HiFlow Air Cleaner Systems.
The Transformer™ works with ALL OUTLAW Air Cleaners (425, 587, 606, 636v 828 & Velocity Stack)
OEM, Screamin' Eagle or Arlen Ness air cleaners are NOT Compatible with the Transformer™ EBS

PATENT PENDING.
The EPA has required Harley to route hot, dirty, oily crankcase air back into the air cleaner compromising the performance of your engine. This vents it without compromising the performance and longevity of your motor.
Or, if you are in an area of the world that requires internal venting, this will "Transform" to be routed internally while still being able to run A Performance Outlaw Air Cleaner.
The Transformer™ also acts as a Support Bracket, so the factory support bracket, or an aftermarket support bracket, is not needed when running an Outlaw HiFlow Air Cleaner.
With this breather system you will experience a slight performance increase. This is because engines like Cold, Dry, Oxygen Rich air!
The Transformer™ is shipped in External Breather System configuration, it can also be easily “Transformed” into an emission compliant system.
When ordering, you have the option of no filter or catch-can, a Filter, or a Machine Cut Aluminum Finish or a Black Powder Coat Finish Catch Can.
The Machine Cut Billet Aluminum Finish can be polished to a Mirror Finish.
There are options for Standard Catch Can & XL Catch Can. The XL Catch Can Is 33% Larger holding 3 ounces of liquid, where the Standard Catch Can holds 1 ounce of liquid. The top of the Catch Can is attached to the hose by a zip tie or hose clamp (both supplied w/ the kit). The bottom of the Catch Can threads to the top.
Anytime you want, you can un-screw the can portion, empty out all the gunk, and then thread it back together.
The top of the Catch Can is vented, letting the air escape, while the 4 Stage Filtration catches and holds the oil.

To "Transform" this EBS, use the provided allen wrench to remove the 6 screws holding the backplate of the EBS in place...

Really love the look of the Transformer EBS 1 people found this helpfulI installed the Transformer EBS on my '20 SG CVO, you cannot see it which is great it completely blends in, I added the DK Custom HiFlow 828 Air Cleaner with the wrinkle black cover, DK Custom Catch Can, Cobra headers, Rinehart 4.5 DBX 45 mufflers, a SE Stage II cam, S&S 55mm Performance manifold, as well as a Power Vision, added a base tune, and have been using autotune, and the bike runs, and breaths so much better.

Transformer EBS 1 people found this helpfulI know there are many alternatives to route the crankcase gases to a an external breather. But, I watched many videos posted by DK Customs and really liked the engineering design and appearance of their Transformer product. I bought the entire setup including a 606 Outlaw AC and powder coated catch can. DK Customs really makes quality products and dedicates a lot of effort in their instructions. The install was easy and there is a noticeable performance improvement with my 2022 Road Glide ST. I would highly recommend this product and DK Customs in general.

Great product 1 people found this helpfulI already had an Outlaw air cleaner and decided to add the Transformer for a cleaner look, as well as to eliminate some oil seepage I was getting where the hose attached to the rear breather bolt. The build quality of of the Transfomer is excellent, and it fit perfectly on my 2018 Road Glide Special. Also, it does not make the air cleaner stick out any further, since the Outlaw spacer is no longer required (it's machined into the Transformer).

Outstanding 2 people found this helpfulBeing new to the M8 family, my twin cam or evo never misted residual from the air cleaner when ridden “hard” like this M8 does. I was concerned about this phenomenon but was assured by the Harley technicians this was normal for the engine and the riding conditions combined with an aftermarket air cleaner. Not satisfied that this spray down the right side of my bike I went into research mode. I’ve purchased many quality products from DKC so the quality wasn’t my concern as much as the functionality. It’s a very delicate system so take your time but man, this system should be the standard for the M8 engines! Harley wants you to peddle the restrictive BS from Screaming Eagle but once I installed the transformer, external air breather that I routed around my cam plate and attached to my oil pan and the outlaw air breather I took her for a rip. Around 300 miles and ran her like a screaming banshee. No oil residual whatsoever down the side of my machine. All that garbage went down through the EB and vented to the atmosphere where it belongs. I’m so satisfied that I get the advantages of the M8 and now no longer have to deal with the mess of a long ride. Thank you DKC!!!

Transformer EBS 2 people found this helpfulI had trouble with mine. Still had oil getting to air filter. Engine got to hot and warped the heads. Damaged the cam. Pistons had a lot of carbon buildup. Even tho I have EBS on bike since it was new (2019). Has 26000 miles on it.

With the Transformer set up to vent externally, there is no physically possible way for oil to get into the Air Cleaner or be the reason for Carbon Build up from the Breather System.
The real culprit sounds like heat damage that occurred before you got your bike cooled down, or you never got your bike cooled down to a good operating temperature. The hot oily oxygen depleted air that normally is rounted into the intake, is now being routed outside the Air Cleaner with the Transformer. Then there are four valves that when the engine gets too hot the valve stems get loose and oil leaks into the cylinder and can cause carbon build up.
Once you get your engine rebuilt, you do not want this to happen again.

All installation hardware is top of the line. The directions are clear and easy to follow. I chose the straight down pre threaded hose barb with chrome filter hanging beneath the AC cover. Outstanding! Spotless install that looks amazing! Thanks

Great product, easy install w/ online videos 1 people found this helpfulI got this for my RK 2022 and it seems to make the difference together with straight flow slip-on pipes: the engine has more air resulting in subjectively higher torque esp. around 2.8-3.0k RPMs. There was a small issue with the EBS module, which has been very quickly resolved by DK's team, which I appreciate very much! A couple of suggestions that might help to improve in the future: - the threading for outflow fitting on the EBS unit is very tight and I didn't dare to screw it all way in to avoid damaging the aluminum module. Perhaps, a bit of CNC tuning is needed. - I suggest to put a QR-code of video instruction URLs on the printed sheet: they are very useful in combination with the information in the manual. Thank you!

Great kit 1 people found this helpfulI had the original EBS with a 606 air cleaner on my 2017 Road King. I love the 606 air cleaner. I could never get the banjo fittings to not leak a little oil, and routing the hoses and locating the catch can never looked that great. The Transformer is a game changer. It’s a very complete kit. I was able to locate the catch can directly below the 606, and it looks great.

Sleek look minimal look that works! 1 people found this helpfulInstalled on a 2020 FLHXS w/tab performance intake. I had previously used DK's catch can setup, which worked, but left some visible hoses, plus the occasional emptying of the can. Once I saw the videos and pictures of this product; this was an instant buy! I've put on ~500ish miles now with the transformer installed, and I can say that I couldn't be happier with it! Zero maintenance, and super clean looking. I can see the vapors (mostly steam) escaping after going for a ride. No leaking etc. Great product! I'm looking forward to future innovations from these guys.

Another excellent product! 1 people found this helpfulNot that I'm worried about the EPA or state cracking down on where I live, but this is an excellent product! I thought the instructions were confusing but putting it on was no problem whatsoever. I already had an EBS with premium catch can, so this just took about an hour and some thought. No more hose running down the side! Catch can fit quite nicely just under the transformer with a tiny piece of hose. THANKS DK!!!!

Natalie, Dwayne and the other girl who answers the phone (sorry I forgot your name) are all knowledgeable, personable and down to earth. On to the transformer easy to follow instructions , good quality and easy to install. All the other products I purchase are the same quality and easy to follow instructions.
